How This Works:	You can spread bet on the Barclays Rolling Daily market to move:   Above 232.2p, or   Below 231.8p This is a 'Rolling Daily' trade and so there is no closing date for this spread bet. If you haven't closed your position and the trading session ends then your position will automatically roll over to the next trading session. Units (Points) Traded:	Trades on the Barclays market are priced in £x per penny price movement. E.g. if Barclays changes by 45p then you would lose/win 45 multiples of your stake.

Take a Profit?	You may decide to let your bet run or close it, i.e. close your spread bet for a profit. In this example you opt to settle your position by selling at 241.5p.
Your P/L =	(Closing Price - Initial Price) x stake
	(241.5p - 232.2p) x £10 per penny
	9.3p x £10 per penny
Your P/L =	£93.00 profit
Example 2	Barclays moves lower and the market adjusts and moves to 221.8p - 222.2p. Therefore Financial Spreads would show:   221.8   222.2
Time to Limit Your Loss?	You could decide to leave your spread bet open or close it, i.e. close your position to restrict your loss. In this instance you opt to settle your position and sell at 221.8p.
Your P/L =	(Closing Price - Initial Price) x stake
	(221.8p - 232.2p) x £10 per penny
	-10.4p x £10 per penny
Your P/L =	-£104.00 loss

Worked Spread Trading Example - Taking a Short Position on Barclays

You Decide Whether to Go Long or Short:	Barclays to go:   Above 232.2p? or   Below 231.8p?

You Choose How Much to Risk, Let's Assume You Choose:	£5 per penny
Now What Happens?	You lose £5 for every penny Barclays goes above 231.8p You make a gain of £5 for every penny Barclays goes below 231.8p
