How the Spread Works	Now you can trade on the EUR/USD Rolling Daily market to move:   Above $1.32878, or   Below $1.32868 This is a 'Rolling Daily' trade meaning that it does not have a final closing date. If you don't close your trade and the session ends then your position will automatically roll over into the next trading session. Note that if a trade rolls over then you will either be credited or debited for overnight financing depending upon whether you are betting on the market to move higher or lower. Traded Units	Spread betting trades on the EUR/USD market are priced in £x per point. Where a point is $0.00010 of the forex pair's price movement. E.g. if EUR/USD changes by $0.00400 then you would gain or lose 40 multiples of your stake.
Stake Size per Unit	You work out how much you are going to risk per point, e.g. £3 per point, £5 per point, £10 per point etc.
Brief Staking Exercise	For example, if your stake was £4 per point and EUR/USD moves $0.00230 (23 points), you would win/lose £4 per point x 23 points = £92.

When Betting on a Market to Rise Your Profits/Losses =	(Final Price - Initial Price) x stake
Example 1	EUR/USD rises and the financial spread betting market moves to $1.33410 - $1.33420, i.e. you'd see:   1.33410   1.33420
Lock in Your Profit?	You may decide to keep your spread bet open or close it, i.e. close your trade to lock in a profit. In this case you decide to close your trade by selling at $1.33410.
Your Profits/Losses =	(Final Price - Initial Price) x stake
	($1.33410 - $1.32878) x £2 per point (£2 per $0.00010)
	$0.00532 x £2 per point
	53.2 points x £2 per point
Your Profits/Losses =	£106.40 profit
Example 2	EUR/USD drops and the spread trading market changes to $1.32413 - $1.32423, i.e. the market moves to:   1.32413   1.32423
Time to Restrict the Loss?	At this point, you may choose to keep your spread bet open or close it in order to limit your loss. For this example, you decide to close your position by selling the market at $1.32413.
Your Profits/Losses =	(Final Price - Initial Price) x stake
	($1.32413 - $1.32878) x £2 per point (£2 per $0.00010)
	-$0.00465 x £2 per point
	-46.5 points x £2 per point
Your Profits/Losses =	-£93.00 loss

Worked Example - Selling EUR/USD

You Decide to Buy or Sell	EUR/USD going:   Above $1.32878? or   Below $1.32868?
Let's Assume You Want to Go Short	Below $1.32868
You Decide How Much to Risk, Let's Assume You Opt For	£3 per point
What Happens Next?	You lose £3 for every point ($0.00010) EUR/USD increases above $1.32868 You make a gain of £3 for every point ($0.00010) EUR/USD moves lower than $1.32868
When Speculating on a Market to Decrease Your Profits/Losses =	(Initial Price - Final Price) x stake
Example 3	EUR/USD falls and the spread betting market is revised and changes to $1.32433 - $1.32443, so you'd see:   1.32433   1.32443
Close for a Profit?	You may decide to leave your position open or close it, i.e. close your trade for a profit. In this example you choose to settle your trade by buying at $1.32443.
Your Profits/Losses =	(Initial Price - Final Price) x stake
	($1.32868 - $1.32443) x £3 per point (£3 per $0.00010)
	$0.00425 x £3 per point
	42.5 points x £3 per point
Your Profits/Losses =	£127.50 profit
Example 4	EUR/USD goes higher and the market adjusts and moves to $1.33230 - $1.33240, so you would see this on Financial Spreads:   1.33230   1.33240
